Interns will be working closely with the Studio Manager and 1st Assistant on a range of tasks including administrative support, providing an “extra hand” on studio organization, pre-production, post-production and running errands in a professional photo studio located in lower east side.
Interns will be learning about the business and production ends of a premier fashion and beauty photographer’s studio. Interns must be able to commit to at least 2-3 full days a week. No exceptions!
This internship provides a privileged opportunity to work in an established fast-paced photography studio environment. We are seeking interns who are dependable, self-starters and independent thinkers.
An enthusiastic attitude is a MUST, as well as someone who is patient, organized, can multi-task, follow direction, finish a project with updates, prioritize and doesn`t crack under pressure.
Knowledge of photography and photography equipment is a MUST.
Familiarity with working on a Mac platform and Photoshop is a MUST.
Being handy with tools is a MUST.
Basic understanding of fashion Industry and graphic design is a big plus.
This internship is UNPAID with a 3 month commitment NO EXEPTIONS. A stipend of $20/day will be given to cover lunch and transportation expenses for a full day of work.
We will work with schools to ensure students receive credit if needed.
